Just finished my TAX tutorial and here I am. =)

Well, nowadays there seems to be an increasing number of assignments that we have to do and complete. So just an update of the things that I've done and what I need to do.

RWPS (Report Writing and Presentation Skills)

Got back my paper on Monday. Not really happy with my score which is a C but I guess I'm contented since I'm always a noob in ang moh stuffs, also as compared to the efforts that I've put in. Blah blah. The paper constitutes 30% of the whole module. Which means I've gotta buck up for my report and presentation which constitutes 30% each if I were to have any chance of getting a B for that module.

FACC (Financial Accounting)

Got to know my result for CA2 - B+. I'm quite alright with the score, provided that I did not get the balance for the Balance Sheet, which was a huge blow to me. Fortunately my CA1 pulled my overall marks up to an A. But I guess I would need much more practice, patience and attention if I wanna get an A or a Distinction for this module, which I must get in order not to let my GPA drop. Coming up next would be the semestral examinations.

COST (Cost Accounting)

Crap. CA1 was set till so badly and unclear, and CA2 as well. I didn't do well in CA1 and I don't think I will too in CA2. I can only pray hard for this module. Oh, and I don't think the lecturer/tutor is good. He speaks damn fast and everything's like in a rush. Accounting has to be done step by step.

TAX (Taxation)

Not too bad till now. Got 80 for my CA1 which is just nice an A. But still, gotta improve on my stability of that module if I wanna maintain that grade. It's getting more complicated. CA2 is coming up in a couple of weeks' time, and my understanding of the relevant chapters are still way too vague. And real thanks to XiaoMei who helped me lots in this module. =)

IS (Information Systems)

Computer-based module. What can I say? Just follow the book.

BLAW (Business Law)

Lotsa things to take note of but the application of the contents into real life situations is quite alright. CA1 seems alright but I cannot be too overconfident about this, cos I'm still weak in such theory modules. I guess a B for this module overall will be satisfactory. But of cos, better if I can get a B+ or even an A. That would be a bonus.

GEMS - ECONS (Understanding Economics with Mathematics)

Well I've studied Economics in Year 1 before so actually this is quite alright. However the assignments are kinda tricky and have a high requirement. So gonna spend some of my focus on that as well.
