Third stop: Tea plantation. The driver had to actually park the tour bus at some places before we switch to a smaller bus cos the road to the plantation was god damn squeezy. There were jams here and there and it seems like the bus is going to fall off the road and into the forests anytime. =/ Compared to the route up to the peak of the mountain I think this is much worse. & that explains why we need to switch to a smaller bus there.

Upon reaching there, the tour guide led us to the tea factory where the processing of BOH tea is. For information according to the tour guide, BOH, which is a very popular tea brand in Malaysia, stands for Best of Highlands. & actually other than the tea bags there're also BOH tea leaves which are much more fragrant than that of tea bags, and of course, much more expensive. && BOH tea leaves is only available at Cameron Highlands while the other parts of Malaysia only sell their tea bags.

Had tea break at a cafe there. Their teh tarik and banana cake are superb. Headed to the tea shop and intended to buy two tin of tea leaves. One for my family one for gf's. But a sudden extreme tummyache hit me which I have to go to the toilet immediately. Pain until like having cramps. =/ & when I return they have already bought their stuffs and it's almost time to go. So yea. My mum bought BOH tea bags. =.=

Fourth stop: Bee garden. Nothing much there. Cos the weather has been drizzling the whole day so we can't actually visit the garden too. There's a shop so bought their local honey for gf's mum cos she told me once before that her mum likes honey a lot. Well whether her mum would like the honey that I've bought is another issue. Hahas.

Last stop: Strawberry farm. The tour guide asked us if anyone wanna pluck strawberries from the farm. Nobody wanted. =.= So yea. Only bought some things at the shop there. My mum and aunts bought some corns and sweet potatoes there which was fresh.

Headed to a restaurant for steamboat dinner which was average. & no Pasar Malam cos there's a major jam there. =( Back to hotel next where Lavinia, my bro, JiaHao and me started playing UNO. Since a long time since I played that game. Nice! Had loads of fun and laughter playing. & after the game session my bro and JiaHao was watching TV while Lavinia and me went to my room to chat through a lot of stuffs and catching up on each other. =) I'm glad that we can actually chat so much although we have not seen or talk to each other for a very very long time. If not for mum coming back early I guess we can chat till the next morning. Missed chatting sessions with Rey and Lavinia. We three are the closest cousins and played together since small. I love them. =)

Third day (CNY Day 1).

Same buffet breakfast. & then boarded the tour bus to return to Singapore. But we stopped at a point of the mountain where there is a beautiful waterfall. It was so nice. =)


Overall impression of Cameron Highlands - not bad. 3.5 stars.

Actually I didn't expected this trip to be as enjoyable cos it's just exploring & stuffs. But I guess I prefer it to Genting Highlands cos we can actually do and enjoy everything together, unlike Genting Highlands where the adults only care about gambling at casino and then leaving the children to us to take care of which makes us can't even enjoy the trip while they were having fun gambling the whole day. Blahs.

I was actually more suited to city life. But an exposure to nature once in a while is a great experience too. I truly enjoyed the trip, although it can be boring at times.

CNY Day 2.

Firstly, I wanna apologise to gf for giving her aeroplane at the last minute. Cos it was really too rush as I've an appointment with Kugan and co. first. So sorry honey.

Went to GrandMa's house at Loyang first before heading to my uncle's house at Bedok. Stayed there for a short while though and left after lunch. Didn't get to see Rey at all for this CNY. =( By now he should be in Taiwan for his NS training.

Met up with ChuanDe and went to OCC to play pool first cos ShanqKuen and Kugan were blooooody late. They brought a friend along though. So after all of them have arrived we went to play bowling together. I think my bowling sucks lahs. Only 60 points for the first set. Wtf. Luckily I'm much better in the second set. Lols. & their friend, who's playing bowling for the first time, scored 95 points for both sets. Claps.

Everyone was complaining of muscleache. Lmao. Dinner at Swensens Northpoint was great with good food and lots of dirty jokes by Foo Chuan De in between. Lmao.

The day was great with their accompaniment. =)

End of post. Hahaha. Like finally. Exams are coming. Hope I can get at least an A for all of them. Lols. Let's work hard together. =)
