Oh yes my IAP presentation is finally over and holidays are finally coming soon! =D
So sorry for the lack of updates once again. Anws there is nothing interesting for me to blog about recently too, unless you guys wanna listen to my IAP complaints. =X
I guess all our hard work and burning midnight oil has paid off. =) Thanks to Kelly, Sheery and David. =))))) & I'm glad that I'm in the group that I am now for IAP.
So the presentation went rather alright until.. I couldn't present my part completely due to time constraints. I felt rather sad cos I'm like bringing the team down. But thankfully they didn't blame me, instead they gave me encouragement. =) Love them! =D
During this term, I have really learnt a lot. IAP is really enriching although sometimes it can be real dull. =X & I really enjoyed working together with my three other teammates. =)))))
However, I lacked discipline this week.. poned a lot a lot of lessons. Will have better time management next time!
Holiday starts after tomorrow! So here are the things that I wanna do during the holidays..
- accompany my family, gf and friends more (i know i have been neglecting them due to IAP)
- buy new clothes and new jeans (it's time to refresh my wardrobe!)
- dye my hair dark red (don't think it's quite possible now yet)
- spend more time with my psp! =P
- gyming to train up my stamina, sit up and pull up (i've been neglecting my health since i entered poly, keep eating =X)
- celebrate gf's 19th birthday =)))
& a few more outings with my best friend, who will be going to Russia to further his studies in a few months time. We have known each other for six years. We started from being soccer mates in Sec 1. At first from his looks, I thought he was a bo ji gangster or something (LOL =X). We didn't talk much, till Sec 3 when he get into the same class as I am.
I remembered that I was kinda outcasted then, and he is the only one who doesn't have a partner to sit with. So yea. We sat beside each other, till the last day of my Secondary School days.
In between those two years, we developed from unfamiliar friends, to best friends. We have lotsa common topics. We both loved football so much that we can go yada yada over it. We both heart Manchester United. We can discuss football for hours non-stop. We played football almost every weekday in school together. I can laugh at him for being hairy and black, he can laugh at me for having many pimples. There's not even once that we felt awkward towards each other.
He was such a nice, friendly and cheerful dude. I guess everyone around him would like him for who he is.
After the O-levels, we do still stay in contact, meeting up once every few months with him and another two or three guys for bowling, pool or buffet. Although the activities may be around the same, at least it's something that we guys enjoy.
When he told me he had a girlfriend, I really felt happy for him as his best friend, although I may find the girl mediocre. =X It makes him grow up, it makes him achieve something else in life, and it makes him happier. That's all it matters, although I may find his ways of handling things suck sometimes. =XXXXX
School days with him are still the best. Regardless in the same secondary school, or separated in JC and Poly.
& now, he's going overseas soon, far far away, to a really big European country - Russia. Politics are running wild there. The language is a killer. The fonts are like symbols to me. =/ & what's more, he's going to study there for six years. Damn it. Six years godamnit.
If there's a chance, I'd like to go to Russia to look for him too, maybe with a few others close friends or something. He ruined my plan and target to go Germany first. =X Shit him.
Now I don't know why, I'm starting to learn a little bit of Russian language. Crazy guy I am.
